Shanti teaching QiGong

Yoga with Shanti is fun, accessible and designed to leave you feeling refreshed, awake yet relaxed, flexible, strong and peaceful. It is a creative synthesis of Hatha yoga, Qi-Gong, acu-yoga, and mindfulness meditation. It will help you transform your life from pain into pleasure, from restriction to possibilities.

Shanti offers individual sessions designed just for you; group classes, workshops retreats and teacher training. I am available for special occasions. Classes are informative and light,  relaxing and re-energizing,  and every “body” can participate & benefit! Create your group and call me!

Drawing from the wisdom of  therapeutic yoga, breathing techniques, energy balancing, Thai yoga massage, nutrition and spiritual counseling based on Universal Truths I can help you improve the quality of your life!  Take the first step!

 

Yoga means integration or wholeness. It considers the human being as a whole and provides ways and means for helping your body and mind maintain a state of balance/harmony, or to regain it quickly if it is disturbed.

Basic Restorative Yoga Workshop

A yoga practice to induce deep relaxation through supporting the body with props...which will help activate the body's innate healing abilities and therefore help "restore" us back to a greater sense of well-being and health.

Join us to learn a basic sequence you can use for yourself or learn it to help loved ones or clients in your practice. Open to anyone. (*Basic course required for more advanced training.)  Supportive materials will be handed out.

Friday, May 7th - 6pm to 8PM

Meditation followed by the Introduction.  

Optional- Vegetarian Potluck, Drumming & Dancing at 8 pm

Saturday, May 8th- 2:30pm to 5:30 pm

Patty comes back to Knoxville from Los Angeles where she has been practicing yoga for over a decade. She is an ongoing student of asana and yogic philosophy.

Specializing in Restorative Yoga and long, slow yin style postures, Patty works with all bodies; from beginners to teachers to individuals dealing with injury and chronic disease to world class athletes.

She completed her Restorative Training with Jillian Pransky, the Director of Restorative Yoga for Yogaworks, NYC.
